My name is Subash Moktan-Tamang, and I’m a wildlife and landscape photographer originally from Nepal, now living in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. For the past 10 years, I’ve been exploring the natural world through my lens—capturing the quiet power, raw beauty, and fleeting moments that define life in the wild.

My work is deeply inspired by the landscapes and wildlife I’ve encountered—from the majestic red deer that roam the Highlands to the iconic creatures of Africa’s Maasai Mara. Whether photographing the golden light catching a stag’s antlers or a lion emerging from the tall grass, I aim to create images that are both intimate and immersive.
